We are updating our Council Tax, Housing Benefit, and Business Rates Systems during August and September 2025 as part of the Somerset Revenues and Benefits transition.
As a result:
| - Your online account will no longer reflect real-time updates. Account balances and payment history will only show data up to 29th Aug 2025. |
| - Access to your online account will be closed on or around 14th Sept 2025. |
If you pay by Direct Debit, please note:
| - Payments scheduled for 1st Sept, 15th Sept and 1st Oct will appear on your account early due to the system change. |
| - These payments will NOT be taken from your bank account until their scheduled dates. These payments are showing for information purposes only. |
| - Any unpaid or cancelled Direct Debits for these dates will not be reflected in your online account. |

and we will contact you with details on how to access your account once the new system is live.
